[[S. 4354](/us/bill/70/s/4354).] [[Private, No. 559](/us/pvtl/70/559).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the claim ofAtlantic Refining Company. May bring suit for collision damages to steamship “H. C. Folger,” in district court. the Atlantic Refining Company, a corporation of the State of Pennsylvania, having its principal office and place of business in the city of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, owner of the American steamship H.
C. Folger, against the United States for damages alleged to have been caused by collision in the Delaware River below the mouth of the Schuylkill River, on April 6, 1921, between said steamship H. C. Folger and the United States steamship Connecticut, a second-line battleship owned by the United States and operated by the Department of the Navy of the Government of the United States, may be sued for by the said Atlantic Refining Company in the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, sitting as a court of admiralty and acting under the rules governing such court; and said court shall haveJurisdiction of court. 2378jurisdiction to hear and determine such suit and to enter a judgment or decree for the amount of such damage and costs, if any, as shall be found to be due against the United States in favor of the said Atlantic Refining Company or against the said Atlantic Refining Company in favor of the United States, upon the same principles and measures of liability as in like cases between *Provisos*.
Notice, etc., to Attorney General.private parties with the same rights or appeal: *Provided*, That such notice of the suit shall be given to the Attorney General of the United States as may be provided by order of said court, and it shall be the duty of the Attorney General to cause the United States attorney in such district to appear and defend for the United Commencement of suit.States: *Provided further*, That said suit shall be brought and commenced within four months from the date of the passage of this Act.
