Digitization Vendor 2025-11-03 55 3 private chap. 582.— An Act To correct the military record of Corydon Winkler, late private, Eighth Company, First Battalion, First Ohio Sharpshooters.March 3, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of War is Corydon Winkler.
Granted honorable discharge. hereby authorized and directed to remove from the rolls and records in the office of the War Department the charge of desertion now standing on said rolls and records against Corydon Winkler, late a private of the Eighth Company, First Battalion, Ohio Sharpshooters, and issue to him an honorable discharge, to date the first of May, eighteen hundred and sixty-four: *Provided,* That no pay, bounty, or other emoluments shall *Proviso.* No pay, etc. become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
