Digitization Vendor 2025-11-03 55 3 private chap. 583.— An Act To correct the military record of Patrick Dunphy.March 3, 1899. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of War be, Patrick Dunphy.
Granted honorable discharge. and he is hereby, authorized and directed to remove the charge of desertion from the military record of Patrick Dunphy, late a private in Company E, Fifth United States Cavalry, and to issue to him a certificate of honorable discharge from the military service of the United States, to date from September first, eighteen hundred and sixty-three: *Provided,* That no pay, bounty, or other emoluments shall become due *Proviso.* No pay, etc. or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
