Chap. CXCVIII.— An Act *for the relief of Elizabeth Gibbs.* August 23, 1842. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Elizabeth Gibbs, of Tompkins county,To be placed on pension roll. New York, on the pension roll, and that she be paid during her natural life, out of any money not otherwise appropriated, for six months service of her first husband, Abram Smith, as a lieutenant, and for six months service as a private in the revolutionary war, according to the provisions of the act of July fourth, eighteen hundred and thirty-six,Act of July 4, 1836, ch. 362.Act of March 3, 1837, ch. 42. and the explanatory act of March third, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven.
