(/us/pl/36)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That section 301 Social Security Act amendment.[49 Stat. 626](/us/stat/49/626). [42 U. S. C., Supp. IV, § 501](/us/stat/42/501).of the Social Security Act is amended to read as follows: " “Sec. 301. For the purpose of assisting the States in the administration of their unemployment compensation laws, there is herebyState unemployment compensation laws, appropriations authorized for administration of. authorized to be appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1936, the sum of $4,000,000, for each fiscal year thereafter up to and including the fiscal year ending June 30, 1938, the sum of $49,000,000, and53 Stat. 582 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1939, and for each fiscal year thereafter, the sum of $80,000,000, to be used as hereinafter provided.
