(/us/bill/75/pvtl/831)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Anna L. Andreas.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Anna L. Andreas, of La Tuna, Texas, the sum of $2,000, in full settlement of her claim against the United States for damage caused by the flooding of her property during August and September 1935 52 Stat. 1443through diversion of the natural flow of flood waters by the building of dikes and dams incident to, construction of the United States detention farm at La Tuna, Texas.
Sec. 2. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby,Anita Andreas.Payment to. authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Anita Andreas, of La Tuna, Texas, the sum of $500. in full settlement of her claim against the United States for injury to her health caused by the flooding of the property of her mother, Anna L. Andreas, by diversion of the natural flow of flood waters by the building of dikes and dams incident to construction of the United States detention farm at La Tuna, Texas: *Provided*, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in*Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., tees. excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating thePenalty for violation. provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
