That the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to W. Glenn Larmonth, of Watertown, New York, the sum of $739.75, in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for personal injuries received on July 17, 1928, while acting in his capacity as a United States Commissioner for the Northern District or New York, when an illegal still located in premises at Watertown, New York, which was being dismantled at the direction of a Federal prohibition agent *Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.exploded as the result of alcoholic combustion therein: *Provided*, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the Penalty for violation.contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved, June 29, 1938. Andreas, of La Tuna, Texas, the sum of $2,000, in full settlement of her claim against the United States for damage caused by the flooding of her property during August and September 1935 52 Stat. 1443through diversion of the natural flow of flood waters by the building of dikes and dams incident to, construction of the United States detention farm at La Tuna, Texas.
Sec. 2. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby,Anita Andreas.Payment to. authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Anita Andreas, of La Tuna, Texas, the sum of $500. in full settlement of her claim against the United States for injury to her health caused by the flooding of the property of her mother, Anna L.
