(/us/bill/75/pvtl/731)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Ouachita Warehouse, Camden, Ark.Payments of designated claims for fire losses. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the following-named persons the amounts specified in full satisfaction of their claims against the United States for damages resulting from the loss by fire on September 29, 1934, of cotton belonging to them which was stored in the Ouachita Warehouse, at Camden, Arkansas, upon the order of collector of internal revenue, Treasury Department, Little Rock, Arkansas, without insurance:
C. C. McLendon, $103.98; W. B. Yarbrough, $120.12; and Fred Curry, $62.75: *Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. *Provided*, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any Penalty for violation.contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.

June 25, 1938[[H. R. 7537](/us/bill/75/hr/7537)][[Private, No. 732](/us/bill/75/pvtl/732)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Stevedores, Army transport docks.Additional pay to certain, authorized. That, subject to the provisions of section 2 of this Act, the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not. otherwise appropriated, to each of the persons named in the statement on file in the Office of the Quartermaster General, War Department, as being employed as stevedores on the United States52 Stat. 1403 Army transport docks at the San Francisco, California, port of embarkation, between July 31, 1934, and November 24, 1934, both inclusive, the sum appearing opposite the name of each such person in the column designated “Total Cash”.
In each case such sum represents the amount of additional pay equal to that provided by the terms of an award made by the National Longshoremen’s Board. Such award provided for a retroactive increase of pay from July 31, 1934, but such increase of pay was not received by such persons until after November 24, 1934. Sec. 2. The Secretary of the Treasury shall pay any sum authorizedTime for filing application. to be paid by section 1 of this Act only upon the filing of an application therefor within one year after the date of enactment of this Act by the person duly certified by the Quartermaster General to be entitled to such sum.
Sec. 3.
