(/us/pvtl/75/462)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Doctor G. A. Neal. Payment to. of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury allocated by the President for the maintenance and operation of the Civilian Conservation Corps, to Doctor G. A. Neal, Southwest Harbor, Maine, the sum of $67, in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for the value of medical services rendered by the said Doctor G.
A. Neal to Vincent Young, Howard Stanley, Sara Gott, Janet Lewis, and Avis Young, all minors residing in McKinley, Maine, for personal injuries, and in full settlement of all claims against the United States for said injuries received on July 1, 1933, near Southwest Harbor, Maine, when a truck, in the service of the Civilian Conservation Corps and in which the said *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. children were riding, overturned: *Provided,* That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Penalty for violation.Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Neikirk. Payment to. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Ralph J. Neikirk, of Lakeland, Florida, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $75 in full settlement of all claims against the Government of the United States for delays caused by the Government and/or remission of liquidated dam-52 Stat. 1285ages in connection with the drilling of wells on Blackbeard Island, near Sapeloe, Georgia, covered by contract numbered Als-9994, dated August 20, 1934, with the Bureau of Biological Survey, Department of Agriculture: *Provided,* That no part of the amount appropriated *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, on account of services rendered in connection with said claim.
It shall be unlawful for any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys, to exact, collect, withhold, or receive any sum of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof on account of services rendered in connection with said claim, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
