R. 11463](/us/bill/70/hr/11463).][[Public, No. 614](/us/pl/70/614).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Territorial, etc., judges.Salaries fixed. That the following salaries shall be paid to the several judges hereinafter mentioned, namely: To the chief justice of the Supreme Court of the Territory ofHawaii Supreme Court. Hawaii, $10,500 per year, and to each of the associate justices thereof the sum of $10,000 per year.
To the chief justice of the Supreme Court of the Territory ofPorto Rico Supreme Court. Porto Rico, $10,500 per year, and to each of the associate justices thereof the sum of $10,000 per year. To the judge of the District Court of the Virgin Islands of theVirgin Islands district court. United States, $7,500 per year. To the chief justice of the Supreme Court of the PhilippinePhilippine Islands Supreme Court. Islands, $10,500 per year, and to each of the associate justices thereof the sum of $10,000 per year.
To the judge of the United States Court of China, $10,000 perCourt for China, judge. year. To each of the justices of the Circuit Court for the First CircuitHawaii circuit courts. of the Territory of Hawaii the sum of $7,500 and to each of the justices of the Circuit Courts for the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Circuits of the Territory of Hawaii the sum of $7,000. Sec. 2. That all of said salaries shall be paid in equal monthlyMonthly payments. installments. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect on the first day of the firstEffective date. month next following its approval.
