Military record corrected. That in the administration of any laws conferring rights, privileges, or benefits upon honorably discharged soldiers, Antoine Laporte, alias Frank Lear, who was a private in Company L, Eleventh Regiment First Vermont Volunteer Heavy Artillery, shall hereafter be held and considered to have been honorably discharged from the military service of the United States as a member of that organization on November 24, *Proviso*. No prior pension, etc.1863: *Provided*, That no pay, compensation, or allowance shall be held to have accrued prior to the passage of this Act.
