R. 2473](/us/bill/70/hr/2473).][[Private, No. 163](/us/pvtl/70/163).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryLouie June.Payment to, for injuries, etc. of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered, and directed to pay, out of any funds in the Treasury of the United States of America not otherwise appropriated and in full settlement against the Government, the sum of $2,500 to Louie June to reimburse him for money expended and compensate him for an injury received at the Mare Island Navy Yard, California, May 27, 1922.
Sec. 2. That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or agents, attorney or attorneys on account of services rendered or advances made in connection with said claim. Any person or persons violating the provisions of this Act shall beViolation a misdemeanor. deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
