Compensation to, for disease contracted in service. and 20 of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and for other purposes,” approved September 7, 1916, as amended, are hereby waived in favor of JamesConditions waived. Vol. 39, pp. 746, 747. 2376McGourty, a civilian employee of the Quartermaster Corps, United States Army, who has become permanently disabled by reason of tuberculosis contracted in France while engaged in searching for and locating the graves of soldiers of the United States who were buried on the battle fields in France, and his case is hereby authorized to be considered and acted upon under the remaining provisions of such Act.
