Fitzgerald.Refund of bail bonds to.of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to John I. Fitzgerald the sum of $1,000, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, in lieu of two $500 Liberty bonds deposited by him with two bail bonds for the appearance of two certain aliens, which appearance bonds were breached and the aforesaid Liberty bonds turned over to the Secretary of the Treasury by the Department of Labor authorities and covered into the Treasury, after which the aliens were surrendered to the immigration authorities, deported, and subsequently legally admitted to the United States as permanent residents under the provisions of the law governing admission of aliens under the immigration quotas.
