R. 7914](/us/bill/70/hr/7914).][[Public, No. 132](/us/pl/70/132).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the consentTennessee River.Alabama may bridge, at Whitesburg Ferry. of Congress is hereby granted to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Tennessee River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Whitesburg Ferry on the Huntsville-Laceys Spring Road between Madison and Morgan Counties, in the State of Alabama, in accordance with the provisionsConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The Act of Congress approved Match 22, 1926, entitledFormer Act repealed.Vol. 44, p. 215. repealed. “An Act granting the consent of Congress to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct a bridge across the Tennessee River near Whitesburg Ferry on Huntsville-Laceys Spring Road between Madison and Morgan Counties, Alabama,” is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, March 10, 1928.
