R. 7915](/us/bill/70/hr/7915).][[Public, No. 133](/us/pl/70/133).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the consentTennessee River.Alabama may bridge, at Scottsboro. of Congress is hereby granted to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Tennessee River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Scottsboro, on the Scottsboro-Fort Payne Road in the county of Jackson, in the State of Alabama, in accordance with the provisions of the ActConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. The Act of Congress approved March 22, 1926, entitledFormer Act repealed.Vol. 44, p. 215, repealed. “An Act granting the consent of Congress to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct a bridge across the Tennessee River near Scottsboro, on the Scottsboro-Fort Payne Road in Jackson County, Alabama,” is hereby repealed. Sec. 3. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, March 10, 1928.
