Section 513 of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 713 ) is amended— in subsection (a)(1)— in subparagraph (A), in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking and for fiscal year 2025 and inserting for fiscal year 2025, and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025 ; and in subparagraph (B)(i), by striking and for fiscal year 2025 and inserting for fiscal year 2025, and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025 ; and in subsection (f), by striking and for fiscal year 2025, an amount equal to the amount appropriated for fiscal year 2024 for fiscal year 2024 and inserting for fiscal year 2025, an amount equal to the amount appropriated for fiscal year 2024, and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025, an amount equal to the pro rata portion of the amount appropriated for the corresponding period for fiscal year 2024 .
