Section 510 of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 710 ) is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by striking and for fiscal year 2025 and inserting for fiscal year 2025, and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025 ; and in subsection (f)(1)— by striking and for for fiscal year 2025 and inserting for fiscal year 2025 ; and by inserting before the period at the end the following: , and for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025, an amount equal to the pro rata portion of the amount appropriated for the corresponding period for fiscal year 2024 .
