Section 501(c)(1)(A) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 701(c)(1)(A) ) is amended by striking and at the end of clause (vii), by inserting ; and at the end of clause (viii), and by adding at the end the following new clause: for the period beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on October 31, 2025, an amount equal to the pro rata portion of the amount appropriated for the corresponding period for fiscal year 2025. .
