The Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Commissioner of Food and Drugs, shall establish or continue the development and validation of clinical outcomes assessments to support regulatory decision making for drugs, including biological products, and devices used to treat Long COVID. For purposes of carrying out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated $9,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2034.
