Section 240(b)(2)(C) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 ( 29 U.S.C. 764(b)(2)(C) ) is amended— in clause (v), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in clause (vi), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: applied research regarding evidence-based treatments, services, and supports for individuals with disabilities with Long COVID or other infection-associated chronic conditions. . To carry out the amendment made by subsection (b), there are authorized to be appropriated to the Director of the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research, $10,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2025 through 2029.
