In this section, the term personnel vetting trust determination means any determination made by an executive branch agency as to whether an individual can be trusted to perform job functions or to be granted access necessary for a position. Not later than March 30, 2024, and annually thereafter for 5 years, the Director of National Intelligence, acting as the Security Executive Agent, and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, acting as the Suitability and Credentialing Executive Agent, in coordination with the Security, Suitability, and Credentialing Performance Accountability Council, shall jointly make available to the public a report on specific types of personnel vetting trust determinations made during the fiscal year preceding the fiscal year in which the report is made available, disaggregated by the following:
Determinations of eligibility for national security-sensitive positions, separately noting— the number of individuals granted access to national security information; and the number of individuals determined to be eligible for but not granted access to national security information. Determinations of suitability or fitness for a public trust position. Status as a Government employee, a contractor employee, or other category. Section 3001 of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 ( 50 U.S.C. 3341 ) is amended by striking subsection (h).
