Sec. 107. Supporting women entrepreneurs

The Secretary of State and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development shall design and implement a new program to promote women’s entrepreneurship through initiatives that— promote policies and legislative efforts to reduce barriers to women’s entrepreneurship and women’s ownership of small and medium-sized enterprises; increase access to credit and financing; and provide training and mentorship to women entrepreneurs, including women from Afro-Colombian and Indigenous communities.
In designing and implementing the program required under subsection (a), the Secretary of State and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development shall coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer of the United States International Development Finance Corporation. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter, the Secretary of State and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development shall brief the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives on the results of the program required under subsection (a).
