Sec. 351. Assessment of posture and capabilities of intelligence community with respect to actions of the People's Republic of China targeting Taiwan

In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the congressional intelligence committees; the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency shall jointly— complete an assessment to identify whether the posture and capabilities of the intelligence community are adequate to provide— sufficient indications and warnings regarding actions of the People's Republic of China targeting Taiwan; and policymakers with sufficient lead time to respond to actions described in subparagraph (A); and submit to the appropriate committees of Congress the findings of the assessment completed under paragraph (1).
The findings submitted under subsection (b)(2) shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
