Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall submit to the congressional intelligence committees a plan to increase cooperation with the intelligence agencies of key democratic countries and key partners and allies of the United States in order to track and analyze the following: Technology capabilities and gaps among allied and partner countries of the United States. Current capabilities of the People's Republic of China in critical technologies and components.
The efforts of the People's Republic of China to buy startups, conduct joint ventures, and invest in specific technologies globally. The technology development of the People's Republic of China in key technology sectors. The efforts of the People's Republic of China relating to standard-setting forums. Supply chain vulnerabilities for key technology sectors.
