Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall— complete an assessment to identify the role of foreign groups, including entities, adversaries, governments, or other groups, in domestic violent extremist activities in the United States; and submit to the congressional intelligence committees the findings of the assessment completed under paragraph (1). The findings submitted under subsection (a)(2) shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
