Sec. 335. Report on United States Southern Command intelligence capabilities

In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the congressional intelligence committees; the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, in consultation with such other Federal Government entities as the Director considers relevant, shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report detailing the status of United States Southern Command’s intelligence collection, analysis, and operational capabilities to support Latin America-based missions.
The report required by subsection
(b)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
