Section 2102(a)(3)(A)(ii)(I) of division A of the CARES Act ( 15 U.S.C. 9021(a)(3)(A)(ii)(I) ) is amended— in item (jj), by striking or at the end; in item (kk), by striking or at the end; and by inserting after item
(kk)the following: the individual is unable to reach the place of employment because the individual is self-quarantining because the individual or a member of the individual's household is at increased risk from COVID–19 based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or as determined by a health care provider; . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to weeks beginning after the date of enactment of this Act.
