Sec. 305. Clarification of access to Pandemic Unemployment Assistance for workers with unsafe workplaces

Section 2102(a)(3)(A)(ii)(I)(ii) of division A of the CARES Act (15 U.S.C. 9021(a)(3)(A)(ii)(I)(ii)) is amended— by inserting or refuse an offer of work after her job ; and by inserting , including because the workplace of the individual is not in compliance with all applicable health and safety guidelines and standards related to the prevention of occupational exposure to COVID–19, including such guidelines and standards issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, State plans approved under section 18 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 ( after 29 U.S.C. 667 ), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Federal, State, and local public health authorities COVID–19 .
The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to weeks beginning after the date of enactment of this Act.
