In this subtitle: The term Final Statement means the final legislative environmental impact statement on the Coastal Plain, dated April 1987, and prepared pursuant to— section 1002 of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3142 ); and section 102(2)(C) of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 ( 42 U.S.C. 4332(2)(C) ). The term Undeformed Area of the Coastal Plain means the approximately 375,000 acres generally depicted as the undeformed area north of the Marsh Creek anticline in figure 2 of fact sheet 0028–01 of the United States Geological Survey.
