Section 18 of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act ( 43 U.S.C. 1344 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall include in the leasing program for fiscal years 2017 through 2023 prepared in accordance with this section provisions for the conduct of— in the Beaufort planning area, 1 lease sale in each of fiscal years 2017 and 2022; in the Cook Inlet planning area, 1 lease sale in each of fiscal years 2017 and 2019; and in the Chukchi planning area, 1 lease sale in each of fiscal years 2017 and 2019. .
