Section 8109(a)(3)(D) is amended— in clause (i), by striking the widow or widower. and inserting the widow or widower (or the surviving partner). ; in clause (ii)— by inserting (or a surviving partner) after a widow or widower ; and by inserting (or the surviving partner) after the widow or widower ; and in clause (iii), by striking no widow or widower, and inserting no widow or widower (and no surviving partner), .
