Section 8110(a) is amended— in paragraph (3)— by striking an unmarried child and inserting a child who is unmarried (and not in a domestic partnership) ; and by striking and at the end; in paragraph (4), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; by inserting after paragraph
(4)the following: a domestic partner, if— he or she is a member of the same household as the employee; he or she is receiving regular contributions from the employee for his or her support; or the employee has been ordered by a court to contribute to his or her support. ; and in the last sentence, by striking “he marries.” and inserting “he marries (or enters into a domestic partnership).”.
