(2)A timber management and wildlife area shall be designated to produce forest products, to protect the ecological area, to encourage wildlife habitat, and to preserve the natural appearance of the region as seen from surrounding areas. This area will extend approximately from 1,800 feet m.s.l. to 2,500 feet m.s.l. except within the Gleason Brook drainage basin as indicated in subdivision
(1)of this section. Uses of this area will include sustained production of timber, water conservation, wildlife management, hunting, hiking, cross-country skiing, and nature appreciation.
