Pub. L. 91–513, title III, § 1101(a)(7) , Oct. 27, 1970 , 84 Stat. 1292 Sections, acts Dec. 11, 1942, ch. 720 , 56 Stat. 1045 ; June 25, 1959 , Pub. L. 86–70, § 20 , 73 Stat. 145 ; July 12, 1960 , Pub. L. 86–624, § 16 , 74 Stat. 415 , known as the “Opium Poppy Control Act of 1942”, provided for the domestic control of production and distribution of the opium poppy. Sections 1 to 17 of said Act of Dec. 11, 1942 , were classified, respectively, to sections 188, 188 notes, and 188a to 188n of this title.
