80 Stat. 1622 Private Law 89–231 AN ACT For the relief of Edward F. Murzyn and Edward J. O’Brien. April 4, 1966[[H. R. 10403](/us/bill/89/hr/10403)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Edward F. Murzyn and Edward J. O’Brien. That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Edward F. Murzyn, the sum of $6,500, and to Edward J.
O’Brien, the sum of $6,500. The payment of such sums shall be in full settlement of all claims of the said Edward F. Murzyn and Edward J. O’Brien against the United States growing out of a fire on August 17, 1963, in a commercial warehouse located in Alexandria, Virginia, and operated by Columbia Van Lines and Meeks Transfer Company: *Provided*, That no part of the money appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved April 4, 1966. R. 4599](/us/bill/89/hr/4599)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Congregation Emanuel and Saint Ann’s Church. That
(a)the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby directed to admit free of duty any stained glass or any prefabricated panels consisting of stained glass set in reinforced concrete with fastening devices which may have been imported before the date of the enactment of this Act for use in the construction of a new synagogue and auxiliary buildings for the Congregation Emanuel of Denver, Colorado.
(b)The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to admit free of duty the chipped colored glass windows set in cement imported before the enactment of this Act for the use of Saint Ann’s Church, Las Vegas, Nevada.
(c)If the liquidation of the entry, or withdrawal from warehouse, for consumption of any article subject to the provisions of subsection
(a)or
(b)has become final, such entry or withdrawal may be reliquidated and the appropriate refund of duty may be made. Approved April 14, 1966. That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized to pay, out of any money in the Treasury80 Stat. 1623 not otherwise appropriated, to the estate of Her Growth, deceased Lower Brule Indian allottee, numbered 267, the sum of $1,289.96 for distribution to the persons entitled thereto. Sec. 2. The heirs and devisees, immediate and remote, of Fly, deceased Lower Brule Indian allottee, numbered 266, are hereby relieved of all liability to reimburse the United States for any payments erroneously made to them representing revenues from the allotment of Her Growth, deceased Lower Brule Indian allottee, numbered 267: *Provided*, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent, or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Upon the granting of permanent residence to such alien as provided for in this Act, the Secretary of State shall instruct the proper quota-control officer to deduct one number from the appropriate quota for the first year that such quota is available.
