69 Stat. 82 Public Law 57 chapter 119 AN ACT To authorize certain adwiniatTatlve expenses in the Treasury Department, and for Other purposes.June 1, 1955 [[S. 1727](/us/bill/84/s/1727)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Treasury Department. Administrative expenses. That the Secretary of the Treasury may make the following expenditures:
(a)Expenditures for arms and ammunition inquired by civilian employees of the Department of the Treasury in the performance of their official duties.
(b)Expenditures to reimburse Federal Reserve banks and branches for necessary expenses for services performed as Government depositaries and as fiscal agents of the United States.
(c)Expenditures not to exceed $10,01)1) per annum for services or information looking toward the apprehension of narcotic law violators who are fugitives from justice. Sec. 2. Public-debt obligations, sale. The Secretary of the Treasury is authorized to accept services without compensation in connection with the program for the sale of United States public-debt obligations. Sec. 3. Section 10 of the Second Liberty Bond Act, as amended (40 Stat. 292: U. S. C., title 31, sec. TOO), is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sentence: “During any period for which a definite appropriation has been made for expenses for which this section makes an indefinite appropriation, the definite appropriation shall be available under the terms of this section and the indefinite appropriation shall not be available for obligation.”.
