Res. 252](/us/bill/84/hjres/252)] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not. otherwise appropriated, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1955, the following sum:
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE Legal Activities and General Administration fees and expenses of witnesses For an additional amount for “Fees and expenses of witnesses”, $710,000. Approved March 21, 1955. Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect on June 8, 1955.Effective date. Approved March 23, 1955. The first section of such joint resolution is further amended by adding after subsection
(c)thereof the following new subsection: " “(d) Except in case of electric typewriters, not more than two of each of the general types of equipment described in subsection
(c)may be. furnished under this joint resolution for use in the office of a Member, officer, or committee.” " Approved March 25, 1955.
