XV, art. 38, 39 RR) (950–951) CHAPTER XV Radiotelegrams ARTICLE 38 Order of Priority of Communications in the Mobile Service 950 The order of priority of communications in the mobile service is as follows: 1st Distress calls, distress messages and distress traffic. 2nd Communications preceded by the urgency signal. 3rd Communications preceded by the safety signal. 4th Communications relative to radio direction-finding bearings. 5th Radiotelegrams relative to the navigation and safe movement of aircraft. 6th Radiotelegrams relative to the navigation, movements, and needs of ships; weather observation messages destined for an official meteorological service. 7th Government radiotelegrams for which priority right has been claimed. 8th Service radiotelegrams relating to the working of the radiocommunication service or to radiotelegrams previously transmitted. 9th All other communications.
