(1)Standard beam approach equipment, to be accommodated in the band 31.7 – 41 Mc/s in Region 1, consists of a localizer and markers used to assist aircraft in making landing approach. 259
(2)The band 328.6 – 335.4 Mc/s is for the use of the Instrument Landing System (glide path). 260
(3)The band 4 200 – 4 400 Mc/s is for the use of radio altimeters. 261
