Chap. III, art. 3 RR)(86–90) CHAPTER III Frequencies ARTICLE 3 General Rules for the Assignment and Use of Frequencies 86 § 1. The countries, members of the Union, adhering to these Regulations, agree that in assigning frequencies to stations which, by their very nature, are capable of causing harmful interference to the services rendered by the stations of another country, they will make such assignments in accordance with the table of frequency allocations and other provisions of this chapter. 87 § 2.
The frequencies so assigned shall be selected in such a manner as to avoid causing harmful interference with services carried on by stations using frequencies assigned to them in conformity with the provisions of this chapter and which are entitled to international protection from harmful interference as provided in article 11. 88 § 3. A country, member of the Union, shall not assign to a station any frequency in derogation of either the table of frequency allocations given in this chapter or the other provisions of these Regulations, except on the express condition that harmful interference shall not be caused to services carried on by stations operating in accordance with the provisions of the Convention and of these Regulations. 89 § 4.
The stations of a service shall use frequencies so separated from the limits of a band allocated to that service as not to cause harmful interference to the services to which the frequency bands immediately adjoining are allocated. 90 § 5.
