Préambule. 1 Les définitions suivantes ont été composées en vue des Règlements annexés à la Convention internationale des télécommunications et de l’exécution des services correspondants; elles ne sont pas nécessairement applicables dans d’autres cas. Section I. General Terms 2 *Telecommunication:* Any transmission, emission or reception of signs, signals, writing, images and sounds or intelligence of any nature by wire, radio, visual or other electromagnetic systems. 3 *General Network of Telecommunication Channels:* The whole of the existing telecommunication channels open to public correspondence, with the exception of the telecommunication channels of the mobile service. 4 *Radiocommunication:* Any telecommunication by means of Hertzian waves. 5 *Hertzian Waves:* Electromagnetic waves of frequencies between 10 kc/s and 3 000 000 Mc/s. 63 Stat. 1582 (6–17)(
