Chap. LIII.— An Act *granting a pension to William C. Beard, late a captain in the United States army.* March 3, 1837. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, To be placed on pension roll.directed to place the name of William C. Beard, late a captain in the United States army, on the invalid pension roll, at the rate of seventeen dollars per month, to commence on the first of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-five. Approved, March 3, 1837.
