Chap. CXLIV.— An Act *for the relief of Beckford C. Mathews.* August 11, 1842. *Be it enacted, &c*., That the President of the United States be, andA duplicate land warrant to issue to him. he is hereby, authorized to cause to be issued to Beckford C. Mathews, vendee and heir at law of Daniel Mathews, a soldier of the New Hampshire line of the war of the revolution, a duplicate of land warrant number one thousand one hundred and thirty-eight, for one hundred acres of land; which land warrant was issued to said Daniel Mathews in his lifetime, and lost without having been located.
