CCXL.— An Act *for the relief of the legal representatives of Henry Eckford, deceased.* August 29, 1842. *Be it enacted, &c*., That there be paid to the legal representatives of Henry Eckford, deceased, out of any money in the treasury not other-wiseTo be paid for certain vessels remaining on H. Eckford’s premises. appropriated, the sum of three thousand seven hundred and eighty-three dollars and ninety-seven cents, in full payment and satisfaction for any claims they, or the said Henry Eckford had, or may have, on account of the United States vessels New Orleans and Chippewa being suffered to remain on the premises of the said Henry Eckford for any length of time anterior to the first day of January, eighteen hundred and forty-two; and a further sum, at the rate of one hundred and ninety-one dollars sixty-two and one half cents, as long as the said United States vessel New Orleans shall remain at Navy Point.
