Chap. CCCII.— An Act *for the relief of Noah Brown and the legal representatives of Adam Brown.* July 2, 1836. *Be it enacted, &c.*, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is Payment for losses sustained by the sale of treasury notes.hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Noah Brown and the legal representatives of Adam Brown, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of five thousand and thirty dollars, being the amount of losses sustained by Adam and Noah Brown upon the sale of treasury notes made by them in the years eighteen hundred and fourteen and eighteen hundred and fifteen, under an agreement with the commissioners for building the steam-frigate Fulton the first.
