Snyder.Provisions of Employees’ Compensation Act extended to. That notwithstanding the provisions and limitations of sections 15 to 20, both inclusive, of the Act entitled “An Act to provide compensation for employees of the United States suffering injuries while in the performance of their duties, and former purposes”, approved September [39 Stat. 745, 747](/us/stat/39/745/747).[5 U. S. C. 765–770](/us/usc/t5/s765–770).7, 1916, as amended, the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to receive and consider, when filed, the claim of Harry K.
Snyder, of Wilmington, Delaware, for disability alleged to have been incurred by him on February 16, 1926, while employed as a keeper of the United States Lighthouse Service, Port Penn, Delaware, and to determine said *Proviso*.No prior benefits.claim upon its merits under provisions of said Act: *Provided*, That no benefits shall accrue prior to the enactment of this Act: *And provided further*,Time for filing claim. That such claim be filed within six months after the passage of this Act.

That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $422.96 to Joseph Alder, the sum of $100 to E. G. Allen, and the sum of $124.75 to E. G. Allen and By Hanchett jointly, in full satisfaction of their claims against the United States arising out of the breaking of Cluff Reservoir Dam Numbered 3, near Safford, Arizona, on May 1, 1937, such dam having been constructed by the Department of Agriculture through the Soil Conservation Service: *Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.*Provided*, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any53 Stat. 1515 contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating thePenalty for violation. provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
