(/us/pl/75/751)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Klamath Indians. Payment of designated salaries and expenses out of tribal funds, authorized.of the Interior, or such official as may be designated by him, is hereby authorized beginning as of July 1, 1937, and until otherwise directed by Congress, to pay out of any unobligated tribal funds of the Klamath Indians in the Treasury of the United States the following salaries and expenses:
"To the chairman, secretary, and interpreter of the Klamath General Klamath General Council. Klamath Business Committee, etc.; exception.Council and members of the Klamath Business Committee or other committees appointed by the general council (except the Klamath Reimbursable Loan Fund Board), when engaged on business of the tribe, a salary of not to exceed $5 per day and a per diem of not to exceed $3 in lieu of subsistence and all other expenses; to such official delegates of the Klamath Tribe who may carry on the business of the tribe at the seat of government a salary of not to exceed $5 per day and a per diem of $5 in lieu of subsistence and all other expenses: *Provided,* That the rate of salary and per diem paid *Provisos.* Salary, etc., rates to be fixed in advance.shall be fixed in advance by the general council of said tribe or by the business committee of the said tribe if authorized by said general council: *Provided further,* That the official delegates of the Transportation to and from seat of government. tribe carrying on said business at the seat of government shall also receive the usual railroad and sleeping-car transportation to and from the seat of government: *Provided further,* That the aforesaid salaries Limitation.and expenses shall not exceed $7,500 per annum: *Provided further,* That the length of stay of the official delegates at the seat of government Length of stay at seat of government.shall be determined by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs.

House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary Fergus County, Mont. Payment to.of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of 52 Stat. 1208County Commissioners of Fergus County, Montana, the sum of $1,166.88, in full settlement of all claims against the United States for the cost of labor and supplies furnished during September 1937 in extinguishing a forest fire on land owned by the United States, under jurisdiction of the Department of the Interior, in the Judith Mountains, *Proviso.* Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees.Fergus County, Montana: *Provided,* That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Penalty for violation.Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Res., No. 126](/us/bill/75/pubres/126)] *Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That notwithstanding the State of Wisconsin. Sale or exchange of certain land. [37 Stat. 324](/us/stat/37/324).restrictions and limitations in the Act or August 22, 1912 (37 Stat. 324), entitled “An Act granting unsurveyed and unattached islands to the State of Wisconsin for forestry purposes”, the State of Wisconsin is hereby authorized to sell or exchange any of the islands granted to it by the said Act of August 22, 1912, which are not valuable for forestry purposes, on condition that the proceeds from any such sale or that the land acquired by the State in any such exchange shall be devoted to State forestry purposes.
