(/us/stat/75/426)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Federal penal or correctional institutions.Administration of oaths, etc. That the warden and associate warden of each Federal penal or correctional institution are hereby authorized and empowered to administer oaths to and take acknowledgments of officers and employees, as well as inmates, of such institutions. Sec. 2. Fee, etc., restriction. None of said officers or employees shall demand or accept any fee or compensation whatsoever for administering or taking any oath, affirmation, acknowledgment, or affidavit under the authority conferred by this Act.

S. C., Supp. III, § 375a](/us/usc/t28/s375a).“Judicial circuit” to include the District of Columbia. That the Act to provide for retirement of Justices of the Supreme Court approved March 1, 1937, be, and is hereby, amended by adding thereto the following:
" “Sec. 2. The term ‘judicial circuit’ as used in this Act includes the District of Columbia.” " Approved, February 11, 1938.
