(/us/pvtl/75/793)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the SecretaryShoshone Garage.Payment to. of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $1,200 to the Shoshone Garage, Pete H. Schultz, owner, of Cody, Wyoming, in settlement of all claims against the United States for liquidated damages deducted from payments due the Shoshone Garage, Pete H, Schultz, owner, under a contract numbered 12r–6941, dated February 11, 1937, between the claimant and the Bureau of Reclamation of the Department of the Interior on account of unavoidable delay occasioned by floods and strikes beyond the control of claimant, in the delivery of automobiles under said contract and from which no damage was suffered by the United States: *Provided*, That no part*Proviso*.Limitation on attorney’s, etc., fees. of the amount appropriated in this Act in excess of 10 per centum thereof shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall bePenalty for violation. deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
